The Daycare Supportive Living was alright in the beginning until an individual tthreatened me with an eviction into an ACLU..I'm thinking about quitting them because of this person..Not worth joining them.

this organization can be of help if you have substance abuse issues however, if you need mental health assistance you had better look elsewhere. Especially if you suffer from PTSD or any dissociative disorders. They refuse to go by the DSM guidelines and will threaten to keep you much longer if you do not take anti-psychotics against your will. The only types of groups they offer are Behavioral Training for low functioning patients. If you need real help look elsewhere unless you need to detox from drugs or alcohol.

I went in one day, because I needed to talk...I think around 1999.....I was NOT A THREAT TO ANYONE!!!! I talked, I cried, I felt SO GREAT afterwards!!! I CRIED!!!! RELUCTANTLY.... I NEEDED TO....By the time I was done, I was laughing, smiling, seeing the "pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."...I thanked the female to whom I had been speaking with, got up to leave, this IDIOT would NOT LET ME LEAVE!!!! The door was locked.....The Harbor held me there...BECAUSE I CRIED !!!!! To this day, I am reluctant to reach out for help. I apologize if I cry.....Dr. Cannon had, eventually, became my Dr...I was SO greatful to have him, to this day, I am sorry that I do not have him to confide in....I was allowed to be HUMAN.......He may work for the harbor, but he SURE AS HELL Would NOT lock me up for crying.....I am presently at a frightening point in my life...I am not simply afraid of myself, but DIRECTLY DUE TO being LOCKED UP FOR CRYING.....I have found it difficult to reach out for help...Dr. Cannon, Thank You, not for just being a WONDERFUL Dr.....But for allowing me to be a person, with a wide array of emotions....As for the rest of the HARBOR.....GO F--K yourselves, chances are, no one else would want to.....
