The Community Volunteer Corps is a group of people who have been collecting hygiene items and clothing for homeless students in the Pasco School system. Founder and New Port Richey resident Dan Dede wanted people to know the group just git its trailer wrapped and has started holding fundraisers. Here's the announcement he wrote. Black Jack Media Group and Infinity Construction Co. partnered together and donated the wrapping of the CVC trailer. The trailer was wrapped by Black Jack and was picked up by members of the CVC on Wednesday October 24, 2012. Community Volunteer Corps is seeking to keep homeless students clean and clothed. There were 2,606 students in the county who were classified as homeless during the 2011-12 school year.

A group of volunteers donated 150 kits of hygiene supplies to homeless students in Pasco County schools earlier this month, and that’s just the beginning of its effort to help homeless kids. Community Volunteer Corps is on a campaign to keep Pasco’s homeless student population clean and clothed. The group is seeking to continue to provide hygiene kits to homeless students and is now also seeking to secure clothes for them.
