Charges Pile Up on Serial Electronics Theft Suspect
He’s been connected to a string of thefts in West Pasco, Pinellas and Hernando counties.
A New Port Richey man already behind bars in connection with a slew of electronics thefts now faces new charges out of Pinellas County. Joseph Paul Savarese, 26, of 7112 Jenner Ave. was first arrested June 12 in connection with a theft and on a Pasco County warrant for failure to appear in court. He was also connected to a string of retail grand thefts that took place all over West Pasco and Hernando counties in the early summer. During those thefts, Savarese is accused of taking thousands of dollars in merchandise from stores like Target, Best Buy and Macy’s. LetsGetIt Straight and tell the real truth. Management found out that this employee had talked to a lawyer about violations being commited by management at this store. To head that off, they came with the trumpted up charges.
