Holiday Man Charged After Crash on U.S. 19
U.S. 19 was shut down Thursday after a rear-end collision caused two other crashes, according to Florida Highway Patrol investigators.
A Holiday man was charged with careless driving after he rear-ended a car on U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor, sending it into oncoming traffic and causing a head-on collision, according to authorities. Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) investigators say the crash happened around 5:16 p.m. Thursday afternoon near Rita Lane. Justin Przytulski, 20, was driving a 1991 Toyota pickup truck northbound on U.S. 19 and rear-ended a 2002 Toyota Camry driven by Holly Williams, 31, of Tarpon Springs. The crash report says Williams had slowed down because traffic ahead of her had stopped. Investigators say the impact of the crash sent Williams' car into southbound traffic on U.S. 19. Her car was hit head-on by a 2008 Chevy van driving in the southbound direction. …
