The classes for children age 7 to 14 will be held at the Progress Energy Art Gallery.
Here's some classes for children who love to explore their creativity. The Progress Energy Art Gallery will offer Creative KidZone art classes with instructor Patty Reeves. The classes will run each Thursday in March at 3:30 p.m. and include sculpting with modeling clay, plastic to glass, watercolor and polymer clay. For more details, click here. The Progress Energy Art Gallery is seeking your best poems.
Are you the prince of prose or simply have a way with words? If so, you might want to enter the Progress Energy Art Gallery's sixth annual poetry contest. To celebrate April as National Poetry Month, the art gallery is seeking your best poetry. According to an event listing on New Port Richey Patch, the deadline to enter is April 12. The Progress Energy Art Gallery is featuring three exhibits.

The Progress Energy Art Gallery is hosting a trio of exhibits in February featuring Florida Landscape Artists, artwork of students from Deer Park, Moon Lake and T. The Progress Energy Art Gallery's monthly serres features the work of Otok Ben-Hvar and other local artists.
The Progress Energy Art Gallery in downtown New Port Richey is featuring two new exhibits during its First Friday reception this week. On the first Friday of every month, the Progress Energy Art Gallery hosts a reception at which guests can meet artists, see their creations and enjoy wine and refreshments. The monthly reception is called First Friday. September’s First Friday event features an exhibit of the art of Otok Ben-Hvar, a creator whose fascinating life has taken him to unexpected places, including Croatia. Ben-Hvar creates most of his artwork with firecrackers.
