Hang ‘Em High is Ready to Rock
The four-piece group from Pasco and Pinellas is preparing to tear it up during Rockus Maximus.
Eight bands enter, but only one can walk away the victor of Rockus Maximus. Talk to the guys behind Hang ‘Em High and it becomes clear they’re in it to win it. With two members from Palm Harbor, one from Holiday and the final from St. Petersburg, the four-piece band says it has the style and presence to wow the crowds during Pasco County Libraries’ Rockus Maximus 16. Rockus Maximus is the library system’s annual battle of the bands. It’s designed to give young bands a forum to play while also providing them an opportunity to walk away with some serious prizes, including free recording time at Clearwater’s Clear Track studios.
