Postal Service to End Saturday Mail Delivery

The U.S. Postal Service announced it will end Saturday mail delivery by Aug. 1. What does it mean for you?

Calling the six-days-per-week mail delivery business model “no longer sustainable,” the U.S. Postal Service Wednesday morning announced it will eliminate Saturday delivery of mail by Aug. 1. Post offices will remain open Saturdays and package deliveries will occur on Saturdays, according to the U.S. Postal Service.  According to the U.S. Postal Service, the reasons are continued economic struggles and the increasing use of the Internet for communications and bill paying by consumers. The USPS is just looking for a hand out.....and a reason to raise the stamps prices... And..... Saturday is not the lightest mail day.... It is Thursday..... And.... You think your carrier comes late on Mondays? We will get Mondays mail on Tuesday cause the volume will be outrageous....
