The victim was taken to a local hospital. Lawson, 41, admitted to deputies that he used the knife against the victim but claimed it was in self-defense.  However, Lawson’s friend said he tried to get her to hide the knife. He also tried to put it in her purse. It was found in the bushes next to the Walgreen’s. The case is still under investigation, said Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Doug Tobin. A …

I'm glad they got arrested and hope the victim presses charges. These little snots need to be taught a lesson. I agree with an earlier comment htat these children are overindulgent and not disciplined and think they can do whatever they want with no repurcussions. Also, why is a 17 year old only in 10th grade? Seriously? I was graduating high school at 17!!!   more ›

Lisa Forche of Trinity was charged with retail theft after a shopping trip at Walmart.

It looks like an attempt to take advantage of a five-fingered discount on Black Friday went bad for one West Pasco shopper. Early Friday morning, a Pasco County Sheriff’s deputy noticed Lisa Foche, 47, leaving the Walmart at 8745 State Road 54 in the Trinity area with a bounty of electronics valued at more than $600, according to an arrest report.  The deputy talked to her, and she said she bought the items at the store but didn’t know where her receipt was. The deputy checked with store management and found that the products were not purchased. Foche, of Trinity, told the deputy she did not pay for the electronics on her first trip into the store, but she said she did on a second. Foche was arrested Friday and charged with retail theft, …

Why even report this? Seriously, why not start a different form of "journalism" in the 21st century? It is sad to see/hear, but what good did it do reporting this? What good did this story do for community? Did we learn anything from it? No, nothing. The only thing it does is elicit bad feelings. I know I will never see it, but I would love to see some "Young Punk Kid Helps Elderly Man Across the…   more ›
