ReplyLet's try the signs first that state the minimum you can go. Right. No one pays attention to the maximum signs so why would that work. If a cop spots a slow driver in the left lane (who is not going the speed limit), pull him over. All the rest of you who are going 80 in a 60 zone, need to be pulled over too. No more laws........

ReplyThe public should know to check the license of these contractors....Florida has been warning us of these types of people for years. However, thanks again to the deputies who took part in this effort.

ReplyI was spanked by a principal with the accusing teacher present. The principal's office was all glass front and any child in the hallway (at that time) was able to witness that. It shamed you and when I got home (after the principal explained to my parents what was being done) I got another punishment - grounded from all activity for several days. It made an impression on my of which I never forgot. Also, that was the last spanking I got in school. I'm just sayin......................

ReplyBack to your original question - yes they should be banned from the workplace. Sitting next to a smoker (or having one near you) is offensive. Their clothes smell, their hair smells and their breath smells. When they roll down the windows in their cars to talk to you, the smell comes rolling out. Service men are guilty of this especially. Making a request thru the company can handle that, though. And, that goes for perfume/lotion users also. Maybe we should have workplaces that only hire smokers......LOL

ReplyThink this may be a bad idea. Teachers have a big job just teaching, let alone thinking that at any time they may need to draw that gun and shoot someone. Let the teachers teach, and protect the children (if need be) from the perimeters of the school grounds some other way.

ReplyIt seems that no matter how many laws you institute, there are people who will always get around them. Just as drugs, they will be sold illegally, traded, given willingly, etc. You can't keep reins on every person who possesses, who sells guns because people are naturally dishonest money still takes prescient in this world. Mr. Mariano just might be right.
