ReplyWe recycle in the blue bags. It is a pain to only put certain # plastics and to remember which day. I also bring my paper/cardboard and batteries into school with me, I am a teacher, to be recycled. Please remind everyone to send their batteries into school with their kids to be recycled or just drop them off in the front office of any school. We are all recycling batteries and even have competitions each year.

ReplyThere are student resource officers at every middle and high school in Pasco. Why shouldn't our elementary students have a SRO on campus?

ReplyI was told this same story by the owner of "Flip It Toner and Ink". They refill ink cartridges and it saves a ton of $. They have been very supportive of my lack of knowledge on printers. I call for step by step instructions and have even brought my printer in when I just can't figure it out. They have had my business for over a year and I send everyone I know to them! http://www.flipittonerandink.com/

ReplyOur daughter is also a part of this program. She has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. Tammy and her staff of volunteers have worked wonders with her. We are so blessed to have this program in our area. Please consider volunteering or donating to make Kiddy Up a success for year to come.

I attended Tarpon Springs High School almost 20 years ago. Same senario then. After the arrest, counseling and a court case it was found that the girl lied because she was hurt that the boy did NOT ask her to prom. She set the whole thing up. Invited him to her home, had sex with him, then told him to leave and she called 911.
I'm not saying this is the outcome of this incident but there are 2 sides to every story.
I do believe that Americans have a "rape culture". That is why I am a member of World Relief, an organization that helps those who have been trafficked. I love Marla Singers comment below.
