ReplyOne of the problems here is that Pat Muleri should have resigned from "public service" years ago and Ted Schrader cannot even manage his own home life (recently arrested on a domestic charge against his wife). Once again, our commissioners fail us. I support you Jack Mariano! Thank you on behalf of the those of us who want our constitutional rights upheld!

ReplyWhat needs to be stated here is that the Director of Animal Services for Pasco County has also been accused of spousal abuse. There are public records related to his divorce whereby his two ex-wives had major problems with him. The BOCC has had this brought to their attention and they have done NOTHING. Why should we, the taxpayers of Pasco County have individuals like this in postions of leadership and authority? Mr. Schrader has openly made comments to the effect that he would just shoot the animals at the shelter rather than humanely euthanizing them. This in and of itself, speaks to a very sick and violent nature. He needs to be immediately removed from his position!

ReplyPasco County Animal Services needs a new Director and a new Veterinarian. They consistently allow animals in their care and confines to SUFFER. Volunteers are there everyday but cannot make a difference as long as John Malley is in his position.

ReplyI would recommend that the Board of County Commissions be held accountable for the actions of shelter director, John W. Malley. Mr. Malley has come under scrutiny in recent months for the mismanagement of animals under his charge and the BOCC has swept the problems under the carpet. Ms. Mulieri is the only commissioner who is taking positive steps to change the way that the shelter is run (through the use of volunteers) however, nothing has been done to eliminate the catalyst for those problems: JOHN W. MALLEY.

We don't want to strong arm you Beth....we just wish you would crawl back into the woodwork where you belong.
