Good Morning Everyone ! I will be writing on our facebook every Tuesday our Local Green Market News. We live in the bread basket of the nation with Florida and California growing over 75% of the fresh produce that feeds our nation! The Bottom line is that we should be eating fresher fruits and vegetables at much better prices ! This has been one of my goals to convey to the public on a weekly basis what's growing locally,is in season and a good deal. There are other parts of our country that grown wonderfully tasty fruits and vegetables at certain times of the year and I will be adding these as well. Generally speaking in this twenty first century agricutural/transportation climate we can get just about any type of fruits and vegetable 365 days a year. But hear again my hope is to steer folks toward locally grown produce first, thereby eating better for less ! Thanks, Ken Copeland

The manufacture of Immiticide is unable to manufacture this drug to treat dogs with heartworm disease. So if a dog is not on preventative and gets heartworms their is no treatment/cure until the drug is available. The sad part is it is preventable for less than $10 a month and heartworms are usually fatal.

Sherri, There is no cost to attend a Preferred Referrals Networking meeting. Each person pays for their own lunch. also, I tried to "reply to author" but it flagged me for my name but there was no place to add it.

Hi Sherri ... unfortunately we had to close our boutique and grooming salon this past weekend. We are going back to a webstore only (www.dogshirtstore.com), although we will continue to do marketing as Plan-It Promotions. Sherri, on Thursday March 24th there is a Charity Wine Tasting at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 2740 Cypress Ridge Blvd, Wesley Chapel in support of Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Tickets are $10 per person / $15 per couple in advance ($12 /$18 at the door). We have some tickets for sale at Pet Fanatic (money goes directly to ACS). My band-mate Dave and I will be providing the entertainment as a donation (band: Ferengata). I thought you might like to write a little article about it :)

Sherri, there is an event coming up on March 19th at the Sports and Recreation Dog Park (where the business expo was) ... the second annual Barkfest. You should contact someone over there and get the event listed, maybe write an article on it.
