About Tim
I am a full-time musician with a love of everything music-related. My blog is meant to serve as a pushpin board and sounding board of sorts for the New Port Richey (and greater West Pasco) music scene. I want to show people that there's great musical entertainment right here in their own backyard, and I also want to let people share their own thoughts on how we can make the scene better and more interesting for everyone involved.

Spencer, I would love nothing more than to see a jazz jam in the area. Truth is, you're hard-pressed to find very many jazz jams in the Tampa Bay Area as a whole, much less West Pasco. If you have some fellow "jazz cats" you wanna jam with, though, I'm sure the existing open mics and open jams would welcome an impromptu band to get up there and swing.

Hi Tim, excellent work summarizing the local music scene, it's a huge task and it's appreciated. Any sign at all of decent jazz jam in west Pasco? Not smooth but real jazz (from swing thru hardbop)-- any hope?

Hi Tim,
I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.
If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Here is the link for the film:
